Fiona’s Farm Q&A

It has been a very busy time on Fiona’s Farm. We are all enjoying the cool and clear Autumn days so much, and getting fall tasks accomplished. And the goats are jubilant- running and jumping and sparring just for the joy of it.

Lily’s invitation to stop and play

This farm has been a work in progress and the infrastructure is nearly complete!!

It is exciting to contemplate all of the fun creative ways that we can spend our time once the construction tasks are done.

Kevin will keep on plant propagating, and plans to have perennial plants, herbs and shrubs available in early Spring. More on that later.

Mona is having a blast in the Shop/Workshop, painting, sewing and creating unique offerings.

Now to the Q&A:

Fiona’s Farm Shop is a pleasant outlet for our creative inclinations. We like to share products made with the things we love and are also enjoying networking with local producers.

What kind of products are available at the Shop?

We currently have wall art by Simply Pallets and clothing by Barefoot Babies. Also a children’s book written and illustrated by this artist titled “Just Red”.

We have honey and pure beeswax candles by BeeLite Company.

We have embroidered tea towels made for us by Creations by Carla and awesome hand knit cotton bamboo dish cloths, lovingly made by my friend and fellow “Mom in Law”.

And we also have all of thing that we grow, craft and create: repurposed furniture & shelves, home decor with a cottage garden farmhouse feel and of course lots of gift items.

Like what?

Hand made small-batch soap

Skin care products: Pure, healthy and made here at the farm.

Herbs and herb blends

Heat therapy bags to warm in microwave

Balsam bags because they smell wonderful

Seasonal potpouries for scenting you home

And more.

We are offering gift containers to fill with items of your choosing.

These can also be ordered from our online shop and shipped for you…Maybe.

I would ask for early orders to ensure delivery by the upcoming holidays.

*I would also encourage everyone to shop locally this year. It is always a good idea, and especially so at this time.

What else?

This is an overview, there are many more items available.

Regarding this blogpost:

We are planning to post more informative and interesting entries.

Kevin will be explaining permaculture and all things green and growing.

Mona will be explaining the benefits of using pure, healthy skin care products, offering favorite family recipes and sharing new offerings in the shop.

So check in from time to time.

Stay well.
