We are a small farm in Western North Carolina raising heritage breed animals, and growing and preserving heirloom herbs and flowers for sale.
But this was not always so.
We purchased a property (that was not actually a farm at the time) five years ago now, decided to renovate the buildings and reclaim the land. This has been an adventure and a process. We have learned a lot, and continue to grow along with the farm.
At present we have three endangered San Clemente Island goats….
rescued Rhode Island Red hens …
…and added a few more Rhode Island Reds for good measure.
Of course our dog Fiona oversees it all.
We endeavor to practice regenerative permaculture principles in all that we raise, grow and craft.
We will be open in our Garden Shop May through December from 9 to 3. Live plants, dried herbs and spices, gifts and garden items, as well as unique farmhouse finds will be available for sale. We also have an online Shop.
