You all may recall that we had little San Clemente Island goat twins last Fall. Lily and Dash (I swear we did not know that there is a TV show of this name).
And Lily was refused by her goat mother.
So, many months were spent hand feeding this sweet little doeling, spending cold winter nights in our laundry room.
All the goats are now happily and peacefully integrated.
So our attention turned to the farm, once the weather warmed.
We determined that 2021 would be dedicated to finishing the renovation and infrastructure on the land and buildings.
We want to get to the place where we can really enjoy this country life that we have chosen, without being pulled in so many directions. Still, on a farm we must be able to change priorities and tasks whenever needed.
Kevin started selling plants- ornamental shrubs, perennial herbs and berries as well as other assorted plants.

We got six more chickens last summer and…
This has been an attempt to get back in the routine of making web posts.
The latest focus and exciting news is this:
We are planning to open Fiona’s Farm and Garden Shop the second Saturday in September. Then hopefully monthly on the second Saturdays May through December. And anytime by appointment. The shop will be open and there will be a large assortment of plants for Fall gardening.
I will be posting on here weekly, now that I have done this update.
