On Reflection…

I want to share some information.

I have briefly mentioned that here at Fiona’s Farm, we have an extra building, but did you know that it has a history? We are told by neighbors that it has been a “filling station”, a small grocery, a diner (that reportedly made the best burgers in the world), a doctor’s office and more recently was converted into a livable home.

As soon as we toured this real estate listing in 2017, I began having visions of creating a small cottage shop. A country shop to offer garden and farmhouse items, herbs and plants grown here at the farm, and products created with our farm grown heirloom plants.

A sample of Kevin’s propagation genius.

We also hope to host meetups and have crafting classes in the shop space.

We had planned to open in Spring 2020.

But then Covid 19 precautions lead us to postpone the opening until we can be certain that we are not posing a risk to visitors. We have to look out for one another.

We will hopefully be opening for business in Spring 2021.

And so, we are continuing to work away at gathering inventory and creating clean, organic products for eventual sale in Fiona’s Farm Shop, but have also decided to venture into the world of online shopping via Etsy as well as here on this website. The Etsy shop can be found at FionasFarmShop. https://www.etsy.com/search/shops?search_query=fionasfarmshop

I will unveil the physical shop (virtually 😉 ) on a future post.

I felt like an explanation was in order, with the recent unsolicited blast of products we are offering. I think we may all be continuing to do a lot of our tasks online, for the next while anyway.

Thanks for stopping in. Take care of yourselves and one another.
