Farm Life
The gardens are very happy and the herb harvest is already coming in! Really enjoying the fruits of our labors. I will keep opening Fiona’s Farm shop so long as the old AC unit makes the building tolerable. And anytime by request. Stay tuned for shop hours and vacation closures. Happy summertime to all!!!
Memorial Day
Sure feels like Summer to me! Actually this is a small portion of the available peppermint. Also ready are lavender, lemon balm and yarrow. Swiss chard, bacon and tomatoes for Sunday supper. I hope you all have a beautiful holiday weekend.
Our Adopted Barn Cat
brought over a surprise. She was assisting me with strawberry picking When I looked up and saw kittens! Three of them; a tiger, solid black and… We don’t know who these beauties belong to, but they seem to have made Fiona’s Farm their home.
A walk in the woods
They needed some encouragement to come out of the barn, as they are being tormented by flies and mosquitoes! So we went along for the walk. Dash seems to enjoy picking the “pickies” off of my pants. Opening day in the Shop
It was a quiet day with a handful of visitors, but a good start for early May! I was able to work on displays in the shop, Mother’s Day and Teacher Appreciation ideas. A new twist in the shop is this: We hope everyone is well and happy. Happy Mother’s Day to all!
