After many interruptions and mid-stream adjustments, the date has been set.
The second Saturday in September (I liked the alliteration).
It sounded good…then I looked at the calendar.
September 11th.
And the 20th anniversary to boot.
Not to be deterred, we acknowledge the still painful memory of that awful time, but we will go ahead and open the shop on that day.
We will hope that visitors will feel refreshed and restored after paying us a visit.
Our monthly second Saturday openings will feature seasonal items and fresh inventory.
The plant nursery is flowing over with perennial herbs and shrubs for Fall planting.
Our herbs and vegetables are overflowing too!
So farm life keeps on…
And staying cool.
And safe.
We will be masking up inside the shop and will respectfully ask that visitors do the same when indoors.
We want to do this to keep one another safe and healthy.
Next week I will post pictures of the shop interior and give a sneak peek.
